Will A Colon Cleanse or Detox Help Me Feel Better?
Its bit ironical that we consider ourselves so advanced as human beings yet in reality we haven’t advanced at all in respect of certain topics that we still consider not suitable for discussion in polite society and that is how do we maintain a healthy bowel. I am referring specifically here to our disregard for our own bodies and in particular the fact that they are slowly getting more and more toxic. Our eating patterns have changed to accomodate our busy lifestyles resulting in eating more and more from fast food outlets and overuse of high sugar concentrate drinks. Today most of us are on a deficient diet system that is remarkably low on balanced healthy foods, but extremely high on fat and surplus carbohydrates. Add stress of a busy professional or home life into the mix and the end result is; a poor bowel habit that usually manifests in chronic constipation or other toxic signs.
You would think in this day and age that we would be experts on how to look after ourselves, or maybe we just watched too many of those science fiction films where people exist on a pill a day. But the news is we haven’t got a super cure all feed all pill yet, so we need to be taking some control ourselves over how we treat our bodies. As parents, if our children get sick we rush them round to the Drs for a solution, yet as adults we ignore continually feeling tired, ongoing aches and pains, constipation, bad breath, upset stomach. We don’t seem to find time to acknowledge our bodies have become toxic and need some help to keep functioning as they should.
Once your system become toxic all of your organs involved in the cleaning process start to become distressed, and why wouldn’t they after all you are expecting them to work harder and yet are still pushing garbage at them, just increasing the problem instead of mitigating it. Its no wonder some of them eventually go on strike or collapase under the pressure resulting in illness and diseases such as colon cancer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Bowel Cancer. The good news is that some of these ailments can be stopped or cured if the right action is taken in time.
If your body was an car, your liver would be considered the engine. It does hundreds of vital things to make sure everything runs smoothly. Some of the most important functions of the liver include, storage of vitamins, sugar and iron to help give your body energy, controls the production and removal of cholesterol, clears your blood of waste products, drugs, and other poisonous substances, produces immune factors and removes bacteria from the bloodstream to combat infection, releases a substance called “bile” to help digest food and absorb important nutrients.
The lymph glands also play an important role in eliminating toxins. A network of tubing exports excess waste from cells in the body to the necessary elimination organs. The appendix, thymus, tonsil, and spleens are major lymphatic glands that help the major organs of the body in cleansing and detoxing.
What do your kidneys do? Your kidneys play a major role in the balances of the body and control many vital body functions, this is another reason to ensure they are kept clean and functioning at optimum performance. The major role of the kidneys is to remove waste from the blood and eliminate it in the urine.
The function of the lungs is to maintain the body’s respiration, which means that the lungs bring oxygen to the bloodstream. When oxygen enters the blood, hemoglobin absorbs it and transports it through the body. The lungs also remove carbon dioxide from the bloodstream, disposing of the waste, another essential reason to keep your body cleansed. When the lungs do not work properly, it means that oxygen is not getting to the body and that they need to work harder to function.
Once our body is detoxed are not kept overworked dealing with all these cleansing process, it can its focus on doing the more important things like fighting back cancer and chronic degenerative diseases, restoring our health, and repairing the damage in our body.
